QUAG II

The French Connection: featuring Brad and Arno – Bashung's rhythm section, and Nifty Eagu on guitar, and latterly, Paul Sloty on drums. Recorded at The Living Room Tristra's Place in Paris in mad, wild jam sessions of laid back but in-your-face space-rock. Half recorded to date, the rest is yet to happen, and knowing the pace of life in France this one will probably take until 2009 to see the light of day. Think Kapt Kopter and the Twirly Birds meets ZZ Top meets a jazzed up Hawkwind meets a blitzed out Post Punk Power Trio that never existed. Somewhere along those lines… somewhere. Knowing Brad there'll be some ukelele virtuoso stuff on the final product too. Very Gallic, very English, very macho, very guitary, very mad and very weird.
